The Perfect Summer Wine Cocktail
Kristin’s Pinot Gris Sangria

- 1 part Coleman Estate or Cherry Cove Pinot Gris
- 1 part clear rum
- Lots of fruit* (cut into bite-size pieces)
- Simple Syrup** (as needed)
Combine pinot gris, rum and fruit into a large pitcher and stir. Sweeten with simple syrup to your desired sweetness. Refrigerate overnight before serving for optimal flavor maceration.
*My favorite fruit combination for this sangria is kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pineapple, mango and peaches.
**To make simple syrup, bring 1 part water and 1 part granulated sugar to a simmer, stirring frequently. Cool and reserve for use.
